There is a lot to do and see in Mexico City! International House organizes a regular social program every day which includes Mexican cooking classes, dancing classes, socializing with Mexican students, etc. There are also a lot of different excursions to museums and, of course, the pyramids.

There are several opportunities to practice different sports. Social activities run in the school are included in the course fee. Excursions outside the school have a small extra fee. We also organize trips to different sites outside the city.

Mexico City, the City of Palaces, the ancient capital of the Aztec empire and a jewel in the New Spanish Viceroys' crown, is today one of the biggest, most complex and most beautiful cities in the world. Mexico City is a modern, cosmopolitan city situated in an old lake basin which is surrounded by volcanic mountains.

The different cultures that have inhabited the city during the course of the centuries have left an interesting architectural legacy that comprises many different styles. Firstly, there are the pre-Hispanic remains that tell of the greatness of the civilizations that settled on this land before the arrival of the Spaniards. Aztec art and culture can be seen on the ruins in different parts of the city.
