This is an exam at the advanced level where candidates have reached an English language standard which is appropriate for most social and professional situations, as well as for higher studies.
It is aimed at candidates who have developed the ability to confidently communicate themselves, to deal with most aspects of every-day life in English. It is also aimed at candidates who wish to study abroad or to develop a career which requires special skills in English (business, medicine, engineering, etc.)
CAE includes 5 language skills:
- Reading
- Writing
- Use of English
- Listening comprehension
- Conversation
